Our chiropractic clinic is a growing, fast-paced office located in East Portland. We are seeking a professional, friendly, organized, and high-energy office manager. Our practitioners specialize in accident injury rehabilitation and we are seeking an experienced office manager to contribute to the healing process of our patients. Your primary duty will be the supervision and management of the clinic, staff and delivery of service to patients.
Responsibilities:
- General office duties (for example, answering phones, filing, ordering supplies, etc.)
- Communication with vendors, building management, software and equipment support
- Bookkeeping and bill paying (experience with and/or willing to learn)
- Communication with patients and insurance companies
- Patient scheduling & billing
- Maintaining up-to-date patient ledgers
- Assisting the doctor and patients as needed
- Leadership and staff direction
- Other office duties as assigned by the doctor
- Inventory and ordering
- Supervising mailing department
Qualifications:
- Insurance (experience with and/or willing to learn)
- Ability to multi-task while being productive and efficient
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Interpersonal skills essential
- Mathematical aptitude
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Word, Excel, Etc.)
- Maintaining confidentiality/ethical standards
- Reliable, punctual, and great work ethic
- Chirotouch software experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to self-learn and expand skills (eg. webinars, seminars, etc)
- Excellent Attendance
- Positive personality
- Experience in management & supervision
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail
- Experience with or willingness to learn Quick Books
Experience/Background:
- Supervisory experience
- Office experience
- Experience as an administrative assistant or similar position
- Customer service background
- Associate’s degree preferred, but not required
We are looking for an organized, reliable, strong leader to join our team. If you’re an individual who genuinely likes people and has good problem-solving you might be the right person for the job. The purpose of the office manager is to administrate the day to day tasks that result in a high-quality experience for our patients. As the office manager, you will work closely with the doctor and other staff to ensure procedures and systems are performing optimally for our fast-paced, growing clinic.
